Galveston Bay
Averaging only 7 feet deep (!), Galveston Bay is home to a fantastically rich variety of sea life, birds, and people who love nature. Dip your toes in Galveston Bay and catch big fish from the pier right here at Galveston Bay RV Resort. Or take a short drive to Galveston Island for the beach, bird-watching, a thriving art scene, paddling your kayak, and the Kemah Boardwalk.
Baytown Nature Center
This unique 500-acre site of uplands, marsh, and wetlands is on the Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail and provides habitats for 317 species of resident and migrant birds. Bring your camera, listen for bird songs, and hike the seven miles of trails to watch for all the other animals that call this area home.
Pirates Bay Water Park
Kids love waterparks! Grown-ups do too! Pirates Bay makes everybody happy with floating down a lazy river, the wave pool, and thrilling watery rides! Hang ten, y’all!
Stewart Beach
Crashing surf and golden sands! Pet-friendly Stewart Beach is the perfect place for sunbathing by the sea. Bring the family and play beach volleyball on one of the most popular beaches on Galveston Island.

Galveston Island State Park

Historic Pleasure Pier
Patterned after Galveston’s Electric Park in the early 1900s, Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier is an over-water amusement park with a roller coaster, 15 rides, carnival games, concession stands, and souvenir shops. History repeats itself and it is more fun than ever.
Galveston Island Shrimp Festival
